various household items (pots, buckets, umbrellas, etc.);
broken equipment, parts of vehicles;
light sources (electric, candles).

Decor examples
The easiest way to describe what types of garden decorations there are is with specific examples and photographs. This will clearly help you understand what a decorative structure is and how it looks surrounded by flowers, trees and country buildings.

Decor from old wheels
From old tires you can create several types of decoration for your summer cottage. The simplest one is to place a painted wheel on the ground cleared of turf and fill it with fertile soil and the flowerbed is ready for planting flowers. To prevent the soil from spilling out beyond the tire, the bottom of the flowerbed is lined with a layer of geotextile. You can create a single-tier or multi-tier composition from several tires by fastening the rubber products together with self-tapping screws. If you take several wheels of different diameters, you can use them to create a pyramid-shaped flower bed. When creating compositions, not only whole wheels can be used, but also their halves.

In addition to flower beds and flower beds, you can make decorative borders from tires by simply digging rubber products into the ground vertically. To increase the usable surface of a tire bed, the sidewalls are usually cut off using an electric jigsaw.

Another common garden decoration made from old tires is flowerpots. They are made by turning the tires outward with the inner surface. To complete the composition, an old wheel is usually used; it plays the role of a flowerpot leg. The top edge of the flowerpot is made smooth or jagged. Flowerpots can have one or two bowls. In the latter case, wheels of different diameters are used.

Tires are also used to create decorative garden decorations in the form of figurines of various animals. The most common option is rubber swans, obtained by cutting old rubber in a certain way. It is also used to make figurines of storks, flamingos, crocodiles, zebras, ponies, dragons, etc.

Houses
Decorative garden houses deservedly occupy one of the leading places among the decorations of a summer cottage. These are small-sized structures, from the smallest ones the size of a small bucket to the larger ones the size of a wardrobe. There are practically no limits to creative thought when choosing the style of a small architectural structure (even the homes of fairy-tale characters) and the material for it. Typically, houses are made from the following materials:
polystone (artificial stone);
pebbles and crushed stone with cement mortar binder;
large rubble stone;
bricks;
wooden boards and timber, plywood;
polystyrene foam;
thick branches and parts of tree trunks.

Spherical solutions

Spherical objects placed in a certain order, created in different ways, will certainly decorate the dacha. These can be large pendant lanterns made of paper, which, due to their low weight, can be hung not only on verandas, but also on tree branches, non-massive poles made from plastic pipes or a small cross-section bar. The role of ground (floor) lamps can be performed by spherical flower pots with lighting.

A spherical shape can be given to trees and bushes through their systematic filigree pruning. Not all tree and shrub species are suitable for this method of decoration, but those that have a dense dense crown and small foliage (or conifers) and grow slowly. The most popular for these purposes are juniper, boxwood, cypress, ivy, cotoneaster, hawthorn, hornbeam, yew, cherry laurel, privet, and common holly.

Balls are also made from concrete. Products of small diameter are obtained by filling rubber balls from the inside. Spheres of large diameter, on the contrary, cover inflatable beach balls reinforced with construction mesh on the outside. In the first case, after the concrete has hardened, the rubber shell is removed simply by cutting the ball. In the second case, the beach ball remains inside the sphere. For decoration, pebbles, colored glass can be added to the concrete, or the resulting ball can be painted. To decorate your dacha, you can also purchase ready-made spheres made of fiberglass or bright glass balls. Particularly chic is the installation of a fountain in which the bowl has the shape of a hemisphere, which is the basis for the stable placement of a glass ball enveloped by flowing water.
